It's been a while since I last went to Brazil, and it's also good to go back and see family and friends.
I'll take advantage of this opportunity and speak with students of couple of Universities in my hometown about some initiatives that can help them get involved in open source such as Google Summer of Code and Apache Mentoring Program. I'll also spend some time and chat about the projects I'm actively participating, such as Apache Tuscany, Apache PhotArk and the recently created Apache Nuvem; I'm also persuading a friend to come and talk about http://lucene.apache.org/.
